While receiving work emails on my iPhone is very handy, I also found it a little intimidating to check through both my personal and work emails in the same app.
Although you can create multiple inboxes within the built in apple 'Mail' app, your notifications still look and sound the same. What I have found very useful was to download the Gmail app from the App Store, and have my Work emails come through that, and keep my personal emails coming through the apple mail app.
This is just a personal preference, but thought I would share it.
